Dateline Burgos,
I missed posting yesterday from Atapuerca as the only
internet connection in town was down!
Today was perfect for walking. I got an early start
and covered the 21 K to Burgos by noon. The last 8 K
is dreadfull as you go through the dirty industrial
part of the city. Lots of truck traffic and
construction going on so their economy must be
healthy.
I plan on spending another rest day in Burgos at a
three star hotel. I´ve spent very little so far and
deserve a splurge. I plan to stay over in Leon as
well.
The Cathedral opened a few minutes ago and the rain
has stopped so I´m off to do touristy things.
