All,
I am on a shared terminal so this will be brief. I
started the treck yesterday. I am staying at an
albergue (pilgrim´s hostal) in Zubiri which is a few
miles short of Pamplona. I left from Roncesvalles as
the pass over the Pyranees is considered too difficult
as it is muddy, foggy, and rises 1400 meters in 16
kilometers. I walked 22.5 kilometers today. Up and
down a bit. This is the foothills of the Pyranees.
In about four or five days the route flattens out.
I am in good shape and have met some delightful
people.
Courtesy dictates I relinquish this machine.
